Summer Internship for High School Spanish Students
Outreach360 is offering a unique two-way language learning summer internship. With just a two-hour commitment Monday-Friday for three weeks, you will provide our students with the valuable opportunity of practicing their English skills with native and like-native English speakers through interactive activities, games, and lessons. In turn, our students will be able to give back by sharing about their countries, cultures, and traditions with you in small-group Spanish conversations.

SERVICE: TEACHING ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (EFL)
Children across Latin America are eager to learn English, an invaluable and widely inaccessible skill. As an Outreach360 intern, you will have the unique opportunity of being one of the first people to teach English to students in Latin America at no cost to them or their families. Each day, you will be provided with a new set of English resources geared to your students’ level. You may receive a set of presentation slides or be directed to an interactive online English game, but ultimately the goal is for you to get your students engaging with you and each other in English.
LEARNING: SPANISH CONVERSATIONS
The second half of each day's internship session will be devoted to small-group Spanish conversations. In these conversations, our students will share topics that relate to the culture of their countries. Topics could include geography, food, tourism, health care, agriculture, slangs/expressions, and more. This is an incredible opportunity to practice your Spanish with native Spanish speakers, learn about other parts of the world, and empower our students to give back what they receive by sharing their knowledge with you!

We can guarantee that taking time out of your week to introduce English to Outreach360 students will make a real difference.

You will receive an authentic cultural experience. Each week, you will be learning more about the countries our students are from. Through interactive materials, such as images and videos, alongside your students' knowledge, you will be receiving a truly authentic cultural experience.
