Outreach360 is both a volunteer and fundraising organization. We ask all our volunteers to commit to helping raise funds for the programs we sponsor based on the length of their stay. We encourage volunteers not to pay any of their program donations out of pocket but instead to raise the funds using a fundraising page that we will provide you upon registration. The minimum program donation per adult is shown in the table below from one to four weeks:
INTERNSHIPS & GAP YEAR EXPERIENCES
Travel Medical Insurance
Professional Leadership Team
What's Not Included:
Flights, passports, free time expenses, personal items.
Outreach360 is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations from U.S. taxpayers are tax-deductible and therefore non-refundable. Outreach360's 501(c)3 tax ID is 58-2197227.
Funds raised above the minimum program donation will be credited toward Outreach360 programs.
If you are unable to attend your Outreach360 service trip due to an emergency or illness, we will hold your credit for 12 months. It cannot be transferred to another team or volunteer. If not used after 12 months, it will be credited towards Outreach360 programs.
Although Outreach360's required program donation is one of the lowest amongst international volunteer organizations, we still want to make sure that cost doesn't limit who is able to join us for a week or more of service. That is why we offer several scholarships for individuals/groups that meet certain criteria.
Early Sign-Up Scholarship
We encourage you to sign up for your Outreach360 service trip as early as possible. Not only does it allow us to better plan for your time with us but it also gives you more time to prepare and raise your program donation. If you sign up and have at least $100 raised or donated towards your program donation by the early sign-up deadline, you will be credited an additional $100. The table below shows our early sign-up deadline dates throughout the year.
Trip Start Dates
Early Sign-Up Deadline
December 26 - January 30
January 30 - June 5
June 5 - July 31
The more volunteers we have, the more children we can work with. That's why we encourage you to come down with a group. There are also economies of scale in serving a group, and we pass those savings on. A group of 10 or more will be credited $100/person. This scholarship can be applied in addition to the early sign-up scholarship. Note: children receiving a child scholarship do not count toward the minimum group size of 10.
Group Leader Scholarship
For every 10 volunteers in your group (not including children receiving a child scholarship), the 11th program donation will be waived as a group leader scholarship. In return, the group leader is expected to manage his/her team’s finances, send us the team's flight information and keep the team up to date.
An Outreach360 service trip is a great experience for families. This scholarship is meant to reduce the fundraising requirements for families. Each child under the age of 18-years-old, traveling with his or her parent, will be responsible for a minimum program donation of $400/week. Note: this scholarship cannot be combined with other scholarships.
