As part of the internship, we ask all of our interns to raise or donate a minimum program donation of $600 USD prior to participating in the 3-week internship. A $100 donation is required upon registering as a deposit and the remaining program donation can be raised or donated directly. Each intern receives a personal fund-raising page on our website. All donations are tax-deductible for U.S. taxpayers.

Two 3- Week Sessions: $1100
Three 3-Week Sessions: $1500
You will make a real difference. English is a highly sought-after skill for our students and their communities, and opportunities to learn from native and near-native English speakers are few and far between, not to mention costly. We can guarantee that taking time out of your week to introduce English to Outreach360 students will make a real difference.
You will grow as a teacher. You will receive professional teacher training throughout your internship, giving you the knowledge and skills you need to connect with your students and lead effective and engaging classrooms. At the end of your internship, you will have grown not only as an educator but also as a mentor.
Who is eligible to participate in the internship?
Outreach360's internship has been specifically designed for high school students (grades 10-12 only) and college students that enjoy working with and serving children and youth. We also welcome anybody who is post-secondary that has a desire to make a difference. You will need to be proficient using Zoom, however we are happy to offer pre-internship training to ensure you are prepared. We also ask that you raise and/or donate a one-time program donation. We will provide a fundraising page and resources to help you be successful in raising those funds.
How long is the internship?
The internship runs for three weeks total, Monday to Friday. The internship takes place every Saturday for two hours, at a time slot of your choosing (9:00 to 11:00 AM ET or 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET).
What is the cost to participate in the program?
As part of the registration process, we ask all of our interns to raise or donate a minimum program donation of $600 USD prior to participating in the 3-week internship. A $100 donation is required upon registering as a good faith deposit and the remaining program donation must be raised or donated. The minimum program donation for two sessions (six weeks) is $1100, and $1500 for three sessions (nine weeks).
How much Spanish do I need to know?
There is no need to know Spanish for the teaching internship.
How will I benefit from participating in this internship?
In this internship, you will be making a real difference with students in underserved areas of Latin America by empowering them through the unique opportunity of learning English. You will also gain invaluable skills working with and instructing English Language Learners. And the connections you make will make every day of this internship a truly magical experience. Additionally, Outreach360's virtual impact programs help you to grow in working and serving remotely, an increasingly prevalent skillset.
How will Outreach360 students benefit from my service?
The opportunity to practie with a native and like-native English speaker is an unparalleled service you can offer our students. The time you spend with them will have an incredible impact in their education and inspire them to get excited about English learning. Not only that, but the program donation you raise during your registration process provides this opportunity at no cost to our students or their families.
Will I need to dedicate time outside of the internship to prepare for each session?
There is no requirement to plan in advance for the time with your students other than reviewing the resources provided to you and having them open on your computer ready to use when you connect. If you would like to go above and beyond, you are more than welcome to get more creative and add to your planned sessions.
What will be expected of me throughout the 3 weeks?
We expect you to treat this internship like any other job experience. We expect you to be professional and follow the guidelines we have in place to support and protect you and our students. We also expect you to be in communication if a conflict comes up that would prevent you from meeting your internship expectations.
