Summer 2012 Program
If you are looking for an incredible experience this summer that will change your world and the world of hundreds of children, a volunteer experience with Outreach360 may be for you! Children in disadvantaged neighborhoods in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua lack access to basic opportunities, and most reach adulthood without the education or training needed for college or a skilled jobs. By volunteering in an Outreach360 neighborhood center teaching English, literacy, and community health, you help to break the dead-end cycle of poverty by giving these children a world of choice. February through April is a great time to volunteer with Outreach360. Our education program is in high gear; we have volunteers teaching English and other classes in many schools. It's a great opportunity for high school, college, and church teams to make a significant difference, as well as individuals and families.

The Issues we Strive to Change
Throughout the world, children are born in disadvantaged neighborhoods. Basic opportunities, especially educational op-portunities, are lacking. Because of this, children reach adulthood without the education necessary to be accepted to a good university, and without the vocational training necessary to obtain a skilled job. These children then have no job or a low-paying unskilled job, turn to crime or prostitution to survive, have more children, and the dead-end cycle continues. Join us and enable children to live a life of choice.

Getting Started
Getting Started
Outreach360 offers a program year-round for volunteers to join us each week of the year for any length of time. The primary focus is on providing educational opportunities to children in the communities where we are working. We encourage you to read more about our programs before registering to volunteer.

A team of 38 students and teachers from La Jolla Country Day School in La Jolla, California joined us September 18 - 24, 2011. The team worked at our Jaibon location and had a tremendous impact on the school there. Thank you LCDS for bringing us closer to the vision of a transformed world where children live a life of choice!

"OO is an extremely well-organized company whose goal is to get volunteers out in the community. I know the focus of OO is changing but for now, having the home base of the orphanage where we have children to come home to each day who we can spend time with is truly something to look forward to.
